At the edge of Lower Town is the tiny beach named The Slade which many have now forgotten and Goodwick Parrog is a sandy and shingle beach which overlooks Fishguard Harbour which is a very popular place to visit all year round.
Nearby Aberbach bay is a sandy beach at low tide and can be reached by a lane close to Tregwynt Wollen Mill, with Abermawr beach adjoining to Aberbach which is a quiet and secluded sandy bay to enjoy and admire.
